Mr. Holst makes science come alive! Every week our household anticipates his zoom class where our kids get to explore science in a hands on approach that makes learning delightful and memorable. I am especially thankful for his faith; each class begins and ends with prayer, and it reinforces that God created the world. It will give your child a proper foundation for future studies in science.

Steve Holst has found an incredible way of fostering a love of science in kids, ages 10-14. At the start of the school year, we received a box full of various lab supplies and chemicals. Every week, Mr. Holst works through a lab report containing experiments on a specific topic of study via livestream. He covers topics such as density, air pressure, force and motion, electricity and magnetism, acids and bases, crystal formation, etc. The kids learn about and prepare presentations on the elements of the periodic table, as well as memorize the formulas of many of the common compounds. All of this is done with the Creator in mind, and all glory is given to God for the awesome creation that He has made (Romans 1:20).

Your class has been engaging and so fun for my son! He looks forward to it every week. The hands on science experiments really have been an exciting! I love that he is getting a solid foundation of understanding Gods creation better!

Even though this was an online class, we could see and hear Mr. Holst’s love for God, science, teaching, and children through the screen each week. This class was a perfect fit for my science loving student. Thank you Mr. Holst!

Having live action experiments from the comfort of our own home was a fantastic addition to our homeschool this year. Great Hands-On Learning Class with fun and very interesting experiments. It really helped make the foundations of chemistry and physics come alive to my kids.

To have a live class-nothing beats it especially having you as a teacher. The kids have more motivation and learning when physically present. Churches are open let do science together
